We love to translate data-driven insights into airport operational storylines. Your day-to-day tasks will include client alignment meetings and presentations, analyzing processes and delivering insights, conducting security scenario modeling and concept designs, utilizing data-driven insights to develop new security concepts. Your end-goal will be to ensure the effective implementation of security technology and achieve the optimal balance between all requirements set by the Airport or OEM for current or new security checkpoint concepts. Your role at Point FWDThis role involves short-term and long-term consulting assignments with international clients, primarily airports, to develop, design, assess, improve, and optimize their aviation security assets and processes. Below are some key focus areas, when becoming our new Aviation Security Consultant: Lead security innovation projects – Manage projects that introduce new screening technologies and optimized security concepts at airports.Client advisory and consulting – Guide international clients through security screening transitions, from equipment procurement to operational rollout.Process optimization and design – Develop and implement data-driven solutions for checkpoint performance, capacity planning, and passenger flow.Stakeholder management – Collaborate with airports, government bodies, and OEMs to align security strategies with evolving industry standards.Technology trials and pilots – Oversee security technology pilots, from testing new CT scanners to evaluating AI-based security analytics.Simulation and modelling – Use fast-time simulation and digital tools to assess the impact of security design changes before implementation.Regulatory and compliance support – Ensure alignment with aviation security regulations (ECAC, TSA, ICAO) while optimizing processes. Your qualifications should beYou have a Bachelor’s Science degree or Master of Science degree;Entry level to 5+ years of experience in aviation security or related fields;Strong analytical/data processing skills; this includes MS Excel and good proficiency in calculations;Familiarity with (security) scenario modeling and data-driven insights is a plus;Ability to work effectively in a team and independently;Excellent communication and presentation in native Dutch, as well as English language (due to our vast international client base);Willing to travel to the office (working from home is fine too) and to our clientele abroad;You’re eager to learn, embrace new challenges, and strive for continuous improvement.
